Questioning the CFD solution.

I’m developing axisymmetric pipe-flow simulations in ANSYS Fluent. The current work compares uniform and non-uniform meshes, radial resolution and first- versus second-order upwind treatments.

I’m using velocity profiles, static pressure and wall shear stress to examine the numerical behaviour. The coursework is ongoing; final mesh-independence conclusions and quantified errors are not presented here.
